Drake Views Workout Tracklist

Views

Just listened to VIEWS for like … a whole day.

Now I’m not here to review the album. Mostly because I have no musical credentials. I can’t sing, rap or do the “hotline bling” dance.

But what I lack in musical talent I make up for with good musical taste.

I often listen to albums for the first time while working out. This allows me to relax and focus on both the album and my workout.

Nothing kills the vibe of a workout more than a slow emotion filled song, (something Drake is commonly known for).

After a recent workout I have picked out the Top Ten Tracks off of Drake’s Views to workout to:

  1. Hype. Self-explanatory. This song should be placed at the start of your playlist. it will HYPE you up!
  2. Pop Style feat the THRONE. Maybe its because I’ve been listening to this song for a week before the album came out but Drake Kanye and Jay-Z deliver on this song.
  3. VIEWS the namesake of the album is also a song you will loose your s*** to in the gym.
  4. Still Here Another song with a great beat.Drake Views Playlist
  5. Grammy, This songs beats go hard. Perfect for a pick you up song
  6. Weston Road Flows. Drake once again tells us an intricate story over a laid back beat. Great song to loose yourself to and push yourself.
  7. Childs Play. The Tambourine in this track isn’t the first thing I look for in a workout track but it worked!
  8. Too Good. This song Features Rihanna and has a great sound to it, some Spanish flare. Which makes it a great song to workout to… or dance.
  9. 9 Self explanatory. Great song with an in-depth look at Drakes struggles. We can relate, we can relate.
  10. One Dance.💃🏼 This hook is too fly. This is the type of song that gets stuck in your head all day.

Create a playlist and let me know how your workout went.

Also a side not: Drake created a “Views” Meme generator that I had a blast using. Give it a try. Click 👉Views

Don’t regret the chances you didn’t take.

Do you ever find yourself thinking back on all the times in your life when you had an opportunity, an opportunity where you could potentially make a decision that would change your life?

Whether it be to go for it and kiss that someone, or a chance to try out something you’ve been to afraid to try. These events if not handled right in the present moment become lost and meaningless the second you make the decision to say “no” in your head and play it safe you not only loose the present moment that you were in but also the vast amount of opportunities that could have unfolded because of your action instead of hiding and “playing it safe”.

Now most of the time we don’t realize that these little moments are the pivotal ones, but since we have experienced these moments time and time again we realize, understand and know how it feels to regret not taking action.

What we need to do, in order for us to stop us from waisting time regretting our inability of action, we must take every “present” moment for what it is and fully take the opportunities that the present allows us. Because after all we are only here once, why live a life full of regrets, when you can live life to the fullest.

Desperate Measures

I am about to walk out the door to go do my required Internship.

I have to complete 400 hours. That is 400 hours of not getting paid!

On my first day of my internship I totaled my car. A sweet 2005 Hyundai Tiburon GT that I named “Tibby”. I totaled her because I was carelessly checking my Iphone GPS to figure out which street to turn onto. I rear ended someone at a red light (face palm).

So… for the past 340 hours of my internship I’ve had to hitch rides, borrow cars and feel sad about totaling my baby. 😢

And now with only 2 weeks left before I graduate COLLEGE, I have to come up with a way of getting the remaining 60 required hours. The girl I hitched rides with has finished her hours, my brother won’t let me borrow his car anymore, and I’ve run out of tears for my lost car. Desperate times = desperate measures.

After my accident my Aunt generously offered me her 2002 Honda Odyssey, but my pride said “No way, I won’t be caught dead in an old Mini Van, especially after having a sweet two door mini sports car”. Now desperate times call for desperate measures sooooo … I guess I’ll be driving to my internship in a Mini Van now. I’m gonna call it the Mystery Machine.

Three Reasons Why Men Choose Man Buns

Why is the modern day man obsessed with man buns?

At first I thought this would be a quick fad with hipsters and the lazy man who doesn’t have the energy to get his hair cut but NOOO I was wrong.  This is more than a fad, this is a style.

I have respect for all you “man bunners” out there. As a male who loves his hair (felt weird saying that), I agree that you should be able to grow out your hair and wear it as you please.

I have three theories as to why men choose to rock the Man Bun.

  1. Jared Leto Celebrities have rocked it with much success

  2. Society as a whole has become
more open to self expression, individuality, and sexuality.
  3. The Chicks dig it

Many guys can pull off the “Man Bun look” like Jared Leto (left), but most fall short and end up with a man bun like that of Colin Farrell (right).  We live vicariously though our celebrities. Anything we see a celebrity successfully do we are more willing to try and do. Whether that be donating to charity or driving way to fast in our ferrari’s.

In today’s world we are more open to self expression, individuality, and sexuality.

Growing out your hair is a form of self expression, this can be best seen throughout the 70’s.

Being an individual is also an important factor when choosing your hair style. In a world of undercuts and Justin Bieber pompadour, its refreshing to grow out your own hair and rock your own form of a man bun.

The sexuality around the man bun hairstyle is a vast and interesting topic, that is why I will only touch briefly on it. In today’s society the term unisex (for both sexes) is more commonly used than it has ever been before. We have unisex clothes, products and now hairstyles. The man bun is the most feminine hair style that we have ever seen. The modern portrayal of a “man” in today’s society is not that of the rough & rugged John Wayne, but rather a more refined and gentle man who can grown out his hair as a form of his self expression.

The Chicks dig it

Probably the best reason any guy grows out his hair is to attract females. According to an article on Mensfitness.com 100 women were surveyed to see if they were attracted to men with Man Buns and the results found that 69% of were.

Only 31 of them said “Absolutely Not”.

Did I miss any reasons? Do you think that man buns are just a fad? Leave a comment below and strike up a lively discussion.

(Side note: As I am writing this I have my hair up in a mini man bun, I look like Mulan)

My First Blog

I finally overcame my hesitation. I decided to creating my very own blog. Not so much for myself but rather for you. I consider myself a rather extroverted person who loves to interact with everyone I meet. Thats what I hope this blog will serve to do, just that!

Proceed with fair warning however, because this Blog is going to be perfect. This Blog will most likely have tons of spelling and grammatical errors (I blame autocorrect for dumbing me down), a frenzy of absurd and ludicrous stories about my life, and some days just me going on a rant about the daily life of a 22 year old about to graduate college.

With that in mind, What I hope this blog will serve to do is:
Teach lessons I have learned from my life

Provide interesting stories

Encourage the following of dreams

Explore Oneself

Travel lands far far away

& Be a great source of entertainment

I look forward to post about my life and talking with you as well.
